Are you looking for recommendations as to someoe who can repaint it for you? Or are you planning on doing it yourself?

Most of the Finnish ones I've seen look pretty much the correct colour. What's yours like?

You can try 1944MIlitaria.com in the US for a quick fix. He sells helmet restoration spray paint in cans. He carries WW1 German Helmet paint as well. It's not bad. WW1 German lids had an almost olive shade to the feldgrau. The finish on many originals seems somewhat semi gloss but that could be from handling.
I usually age my repainted helmets by beating them up abit and then use lampblack on a rag from a kerosene lantern which darkens the finish and gives it a nice "been there" look (gets into all the nooks & crannies). I finish it off with a coat or 2 of hobby paint "Dull Coat" to eliminate the new look finish.
Hope this helps.

Same as WWII, paint batches varied from lot to lot. Typically, the early war helmets were lighter green (funny so was WWII) and as the war progressed, the colors tended to be darker by wars end. I had my paint mixed at a local paint store, they scanned a section from the inside of a well preserved original. However, I have seen paint swatches at paint stores that are very good shades to use in restoring both WWI and WWII helmets.
