These have all been repainted by a guy in the States that I've been in touch with. As you can see he's really rather good

At a guess I'd say a small fortune Will try and find out. Guy doesn't have a web site just does comissions via word of mouth.

Problem with these kind of stuff is that it looks more like a 65 year old relic, than a fairly new item that has some battle damage.

I agree......In the wrong hands they could cost $$$ passed off as originals. For our purposes I think its always best to leave a subtle omission in preparing our helms so they're not passed off as original to the unwary.

Totally agree with the relic idea. They are facsimiles of how a 60 year old helmet would look today rather than a helmet we should wear for re-enacting. Fantastic work but for the collector not the re-enactor.
