But I have a '44 dated [the date and location are written on the back] photo of a Sdkfz251 in a woodland setting with the party flag draped over the cabin.
Once I've saved my pocket money up and got a 251 cant I cover it with a flag?

You know these pictures are about 8-10 years old?
Go back far enough in any hobby and it looks comical to the current devotees.
That doesn't excuse some of the horrors in the photos but just adds some context.

Let's see...you have ONE photo, ok? And you have also a 251. I'm not telling that you can't reenact that photo, but everyone knows that in that period in which the allied airforce had the complete control of the sky no flags were commonly exposed anymore, for obvious reason.

And this is exactly what does NOT happen in big events, in which every damned german vehicle has its flag exposed.

No, Lauf chose to miss read my first post.
"Once I've saved my pocket money up and got a 251" was what I wrote. Not 'Now I have' or 'Since I have'.
That was the bit I hoped would flag it as ironic, he totally missed it.

I guess someone from Mil-Tec will answer you if you write a mail to them... 2nd thoughts: That would be impossible since they don't answer mails to improve their Luftwaffe Tarnung!
Hardheaded b*st*rds... They would have the nicest gear if they could print 1941 Luftwaffe Splitertarn on Grünmeliert fabric!

Perhaps if you had introduced yourself to the forum we might have known that and cut you some slack?
I thought you were just an illiterate gobshite who went off half cocked without reading the post properly.
Now I know differently.
Introductions can ease the workings of this forum especially if English is not your first language.
