Can any one help me on this...
I`m looking at purchasing an R.I.F from Spain into the UK.
As I understand It, as a bona fide Re-enactor I am allowed to as I belong to a group & can provide the relevant insurance details. Naturally the item in question will be used at permitted events only.
Is this the case ? Would I need to obtain permission beforehand from Customs & excise etc ???
Cheers in advance.
(Awaits the don`t do it replies.... )

Re: Importing R.I.F
No need for permission.
Ask the sender to VERY clearly write your membership details on the package, name, group, and number.
To be honest it might be easier/safer doing it with an airsoft UKARA number, as customs have a direct means of checking them.
