Hi there,
I need your help this time to finish my boot cleaning set. I`d like to know If there was any "kit" or "cleaning bag" given to the soldiers following a supposed regulation.
I know they should had a bag with brushes and that kind of things, but were the soldiers the ones who had to buy that stuff or was It assigned to them?
I bought recently a Swiss post war kit (the one with the 3 brushes) and I was thinking to customize a linen bag to hold the brushes, what do you think?
Regards!
Dani

Re: Boots and leather cleaning kit
Wasn't the regulation position for the brushes and polish to be stored in the sports shoes in the packed tornister/rucksack?
