mid war ss = no sumpf

late war ss paratroopers are an exception to that rule but that is for bonesacks not parkas, i have seen the odd phot of ss using heer gear but that is not worth portraying

No ss didn't wear sumpf

Dutch SS (SS Brigade Nederland, probably SS-Pionier Battalion 54) at Narva, April 1944 wearing Sumpf wendeclothing. They had to loot Wehrmacht depots as there were shortages on SS winterclothing. But in the rule SS didn't wore sumpf.
