Over all I was impressed. Your display was good !
I do have an original US press photo that shows an SS man wearing erbsenmuster trouser with felldgrau tunic. I do not have aworking scanner so can`t display it. So such things did exist !

when I was in a 12th SS group all those years ago the general look we went for was field grey tunics with cammo trousers tucked into your gaitors, as that was generally accepted as hwo the majority of the 12th dressed.

Did your group not actually look at photos ?
3rd 26th wear full peas pattern suits,
all others wear either wools with smock - or Italian coveralls.
pratcically nobody other than officer / senior NCOs had Italian pants.
Practically nobody did the peas pants with feldgrau top.
Why is everybody always desperate to be individually special and do the exception to the rule ?
Why does everybody who does the exception - feel the need to leap to the defence of others who do the exception.
Its all very well thinking oneself looks cool and groovey - but it makes group impresions look shit.

To head this one off at the pass may I point people in the direction of something I posted as a result of threads similar to this one?
