SS M42?

Post by dog green 1 »

Does anyone know if the SS were ever issued 6 button M42 tunics? I know they had 5 button versions with only 2 belt hook holes but were they ever issued the Heer version?

Maybe not in quantity,an SS veteran I know was given as he put it a 'tatty old army tunic',when he came out of hospital and he had to re-badge it.I think there is a thread on WAF which shows photos of re-badged army tunics worn by SS men and officers.John
