SS Vest?

I've seen these being sold by vendors alongside Heer and HJ vests - the wifebeater style sleeveless jobs.
Were these issued as underwear? As part of a sports kit? Or are they a fantasy / super rare item?

Apparantly they were used as a sports kit item, there is a photograph of some Officer Cadets in the Bruce Quarrie
book "Hitler's Samurai" on page 14-15, the pic is captioned "SS-Training Cadets on the sports field at Bad Tolz 1942"

Yes Like Herr Peiper says it is correct ,there was a large amount of sports gear with SS runes on the LAH even had there own different pattern insignia on the sports vest

Sill in the Bruce Quarrie book there is a pic of some SS Officer Cadets fencing at Bad Tolz, they are clad in white padded fencing jackets which would bear the SS runes insignia
