Gavin Militaria

Post by mark bogers »

Dear Members,

Who has experience with this dealer? I'm thinking to buy their M40 Luftwaffe trousers for my Tuchrock, but what about quality of wool and shape?

Thank you!

Cheers,

What's wrong with the headgear insignia? I don't see RZM insignia like you used to see 4 years ago...

Allez, the skull they used is on scale much smaller then original ones....
Then stitches are visible inside from the insignia, originals don't have them because
insignia was applied during fabrication not afterwarts....

A friend told me, he used to buy much stuff at Ant-Z's, and he says he's the same guy with new shop now. You can verify same garments, same material, same prices, sizes, and same private tailoring super-cheap offer.

I hope his range of garments will reach the same vastness of his previous store.

Wool color from Gavin is slightly differnt then Antz......

Erbsentarn uniforms are better from gavin then Antz

Why producing 2 dot prints(materials) under 2 names?

What do you mean with ''Wool from Gavin is slightly different...''? Is it more fine wool then the rough Antz wool? I want my M40 trouser in the same roughness as Sturm his wool........

Thanks in advance!

The wool what Gavin use is (a bit) less green then Antz.
But a more feldgrau look.
Both has quality wool though...(with no viscose like sturm)

Just howe i see it...

M40 springerhosen or M35 luftwaffe blue trousers, Im sure you mean the latter! I got a pair of Ants M35 trousers although I did have to bring them to a tailor to sort out some stuff, they are pretty good!

Should be good! The M35 trousers are the same material as the Great coat. I like Ant Zs stuff, but Ive had to get a few things tailored, but then Ive done that with all the kit I have.
