I dont know the correct name of the bag but I will describe it,
Its a large back pack. It has a metal A-like frame and hooks to click on the Ammo pouches on the belt.
Any Pictures of this bag would be great!
Thanks in advance

Grüß Di' Jonny,
Where have you seen the backpack that you are describing??? I don't know of any large rucksacks with metal 'A' frames that were issued to the Wehrmacht. I have seen some private purchase civilian mountaineering rucksacks with metal frames being used by mountain troop officers, but they were not common.
Berg Heil!

Heeresbergführer Very nice collection indeed!
The bag that I was describing was this one, I just found out its Swedish and not German.
With out the patch of course:
So there is no German Bag that is similar to this one? I bought one cheap a few days ago, and wondered if I could convert it to a German style bag.
Regards Jonny
Ps... Do you know of anyone making repro or selling Original, Ammo carrying backpacks, like the one you have shown against the wall? I have been looking for one of these now for some time!
