Tornister metal parts

Post by Peter Bauer »

Hey guys

Do you have any idea where to get metal parts for Tornisters? Mainly hooks andt the pieces for attaching straps etc.? I suck at working with metal, so it is beyond my skills. However, I rock at working with fabrics and leather, so I've been considering of making a repro Tornisters for me and my unit. I'd just need to get metal parts somewhere.

Take a look at this dealer.www.malcolmwagner.co.uk he carrys odds and ends some times.
A few years back I picked up original fittings for a tornister I had restored in Belgium, there used to be a shop in Ostend(when he was open)that stocked loads of spares.Rossel Lehman, not sure if that is the correct spelling of his name, maybe some of the Belgien members on here can confirm he is still in business.

I have some loose hooks for A frame/tornisters. I get these out of the 1 gbp piles of ddr rubbish at beltring. You need to paint them gray and they are fine!
CDB taking it way too serious!
