Dubbin Application

Got some dubbin today so my boots are waiting. Just wondering if anyone can offer tips for application to suede, never done it before so any help will be great.

Use a tooth brush and work it in thoroughly, pay particular attention to the seams and welt.

Several layers of a modest amount will work far better than 1 heavy coating. Allow it a few hours in a warm room to soak in before you apply the next coat (I usually leave mine overnight).

If you use your other half's toothbrush, remember to rinse it before you put it back.

Cheers for that. I'd have just done it with a cloth otherwise, so it's good to know these things.
