ZF4 Scope Sun/Rain Shield

Hi Guys,
wonder if anybody can help me.

l know that two types of ZF4 Shield have been produced, short ones during the war and long ones post war.

Does anybody know what the lengths of the two types are please, as l have an opportunity to purchase a ZF4 Sun/Rain Shield and would like be sure its not a post war one.
