HJ flack helper footwear

Post by Wiganer »

Hi,

managed to get hold of the uniform and badges for my lads impression for this year, but can not find out what type of footwear they had, as all the photos I have seen end at the legs not showing the feet.

Question is, would they have worn marching boots or ankle boots and if ankle boots would they have worn gaiters as well???

anybody help

foot wear

Thanks Greg and Kurt,

Got him all the stuff for his DJ / HJ uniform, with brown jacket, brown shirt, blackshorts etc and he wears white socks and shoes shoes with them.

My question (which was not asked correctly due to going out) was around the flack helpers uniform, but I did not mention it was the luftwaffe verson, in blue / grey with the HJ flack helpers badges (luftwaffe eagle with HY in a light blue trianagle) with this uniform they wore long pants.

so could be like the black winter uniform as that had long pants and photos seem to indicate ankle boots.

Yes did meen flak helper (terrible speller).

great photos, ankle boots seems the way to go also looks like gaiters as well from the photos if I am not wrong.

Also got my badge from Paul he had quite a few in stock when I got mine off him at Stoneleigh.

Hey Simon, would that be collar tabs or shoulder boards?

Mr Morigi http://www.regaliaspecialist.com/catalo ... DS-%20MANS,

does them both if Mr. Underwood doesn't have them in...
