Hi,
managed to get hold of the uniform and badges for my lads impression for this year, but can not find out what type of footwear they had, as all the photos I have seen end at the legs not showing the feet.
Question is, would they have worn marching boots or ankle boots and if ankle boots would they have worn gaiters as well???
anybody help
regards Mark

my boy wears my old pair of ankle boots......as kurt said.....in pics. they have a mixture of shoes and ankle boots on...with his shorts he wears ankle boots and thick white socks rolled down...just picked him up a pair of HJ trousers today...with these they wear tucked into boots(draw strings on bottom tied up)....
foot wear
Thanks Greg and Kurt,
Got him all the stuff for his DJ / HJ uniform, with brown jacket, brown shirt, blackshorts etc and he wears white socks and shoes shoes with them.
My question (which was not asked correctly due to going out) was around the flack helpers uniform, but I did not mention it was the luftwaffe verson, in blue / grey with the HJ flack helpers badges (luftwaffe eagle with HY in a light blue trianagle) with this uniform they wore long pants.
so could be like the black winter uniform as that had long pants and photos seem to indicate ankle boots.

Hey Simon, would that be collar tabs or shoulder boards?
