Just got SMS that fresh lynx (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lynx) tracks have been seen 50m from our cottage (=hq). So we shouldn't leave anything edible outside for the night. Lynx is usually very rarely seen, but this particular creature seems to be quite bold.

Just to say I wish everybody the very best of luck this weekend and I hope there is lots of snow.... I wish I could be there!

Can't wait to see the photos and hopefully a video. I shall be thinking of you as I apply Pine Tar to my Skis... the nearest I am going to get!!!
