We are looking forward to a great weekend this year , hopefully the weather will be better than last . The WLHA from Northern Ireland will be there in force this year for the first time ever so we are delighted to have them , Die Gruppe , a german SS reenactment group are from Northern ireland are also booked in and a new organisation called Frontline from the north , recently formed have booked to come . This will result in a massive battle between large Axis and Allied forces complete with pyrotechnics as seen aththe Downpatrick show last year . So much so the venue for the battle is now moved down the road to a new location inot a large field surrounded by sand dunes and some old buildings , allowing access for the vehicles to take part in the battle . This area is of considerable size and will easily accomodated all forces battling out ,This will take place on the Sunday at 230pm . All other skirmishes and minor battle reenactments will take place in the fort in the dispaly area allocated . All vehicles bikes , kubels , jeeps , weapons carriers , 222 armoured car , humbers and anything else has great scope to move around the battlefield this year , especially with the 2cm and mortars and all the gas firing weapons being used we felt the new area will do it all justice this year . All we need now is some nice weather
i will keep all updated as the time rolls by .

To all the lads in Battle Group South many thanks for your kind hospitality at the Duncannon show last weekend from Die Gruppe and all our Frontline re-enactors. It really was a fantastic event and a superb battle. Well done to you all for organising such a great event.

The vehicle run was superb - wait til you see the footage we have for you! Heres a few pics our Kriegsberichter fired on to our website of Die Gruppe members enjoying the mediterranean climate of County Wexford - more to follow

Stalhelm - many thanks for the spin in the Kubel mate - great to meet up with you and all your Kamerades and all our old Kamerades in SGN - Jock nice to meet with you and your men (cant wait to see the Opel in aktion!).

viel Glueck!
