Have you noticed the similarities between the Junkers 52 and the Ford tri motor?. I'm curious if some how they inter-connected?

Which one was the yank and which one the dummy? Was anyone else confused?
Nice shots, such an evocative aircraft.

Nice photos Pietje.

Since it's part 1, I presume there are more photos on the way?

If so, I look forward to seeing them too.

The JU 52 doesn't fly anymore as far as I know...

Yes... more pictures are coming up. There is a battle tour at Dordrecht on Sunday the 13th of May with also reenactors repressenting Luftlande Truppe (22 LL DIvision) and Dutch soldiers and a group of civilians. There will be some photoshoots on several point in the area where the fighting was in 1940...

Tante Ju

Hi Pietje, great looking Tante Ju, and the Fj looks great in his chute.
What's the story with the RZ16 harness in the photo?

Do you get the oportunity to display much with this aircraft? And what is the chances of a group from the UK taking part in the display?

We,in Fjr2 have many original chutes, all RZ20 and some high quality repro RZ16s,thanks to Bob Sellers. Would you be after any more bods for this show in the future..?

Many thanks

Manny

I am not a active reenactor (yet). Just took some photographs of some very kind guys doing the show. I am still collecting my outfit together, so no credits to me for the outfit's.

The JU arrived for the first time some days the event started and will remain at the museum. Its possible so have have a look in it. In the future the plane will be moved into one of the hangars of the museum.
To celebrate the arrival of the JU at the museum a small show was organised.
