-25ºC lads...get ready to enjoy the cold :D

ps. we (the dutch boys) can't take all our stuff with us because of the Ryan Air weight limit. so items like weapons (bayonete, deac K98) and shovels are not with us.

what is the minimum stuff we really use as kit??

I am bringing the following weapons:

MG34 (no tripod this time though)
MG42
3x 98k
2x Suomi M/31

We should be able to wage some war with these :)

I can take one extra shovel as well, but as Franz said, if you have to choose between authentic, 100% correct field gear and warm clothes you are warmly recommended to take the clothes with you. A shovel or gas mask can doesn't warm much!

@Ewald Koch
Do you have a sling for the MG42, if not i'll bring mine.

ps. do we need to bring blankets to cover over the floor and/or the branches that we lay down on the floor?
Because my blanket weighs the most vs. sleepingbag thats very light.

There will again be the branches on the floor and a cover under that sleeping bag should be OK

As far as I know the sauna will be warm. E-Schein will be issued to everyone who goes to sauna, you can glue it to your Soldbuch!

The branches... can we use living trees to cut them from or...? I mean, with the weather they've promised, you need a good 20cm layer of them to insulate.... :D
