As fas as I was told. It's only zelt's that were needed. Bring whatever sandbags you have just in case.

OK
Was down there last night.
We have the positions being dug on Thursday.
MG Pit on left flank for you guys. PaK position centre, MG Pit on right flank for FJR2
Behind that a shallow zig zag trench
Behind that a mortar pit.
We will be bringing cam nets to cover guns etc.
We will need foliage draping on stuff, extra cam, poles etc driving in to get positions looking good......

You need to bring what a unit would be carrying in the field in Normandy 1944

Evening camp is away from living history so home comforts galore. Living History is down next to the battlefield with the Hetzers and the kubes and bikes etc. Zelt shelters, fire irons, esbits, rations, that type of thing.....

Good on yer lads!
You'll be pleased to hear that foliage will be provided - We just need to trim it.... (XMas trees I believe)

Relax - all you need to do is keep the MG running, sit still, shoot a bit, die a bit and surrender at the end - Someone bring a white flag!

Oh - and don't look directly at me bangs - they are going to be BIG! and CLOSE

I guarantee though, if you live through it, you'll enjoy it!

I have a comedy hacked-off foot which would be ideal for this. when the bombs start going off I am going to chuck it in the air, while spraying the audience with pigs blood and intestines from some hidden hoses.

should be a real show stopper!

So is pigs blood! I have a white flag for the allies to use if they need to surrender.

True, true :)

As to Union Jack, as soon as I can get around to it. I have a large pile of scanning to finish off first. Sometime this month, all being well.
