I know it's still half a year away, but starting 2015, what annual events or new events can one expect to take place in the UK for 2015? YWE, W&P, Victory are well known to me, but what about early 2015? Especially during Spring.

Generally on the same weekend as RGM - which is a shame , as I'd like to go to both .....

Well it looks like I'll be making plans then!

RGM, how's the event usually like?

Rgm is a great show, loads of space to drive round on krads etc
Our bicycle section had a brilliant pedal out session, there's lots of tree cover and the organisers are very helpful and friendly. Lacks a bit in public but it's growing every year.

Also small canals for the pioneer assault boat as well!

I'd echo what Sparky says , and add that , for many reenactors , it's the first show of the year .

Sounds good to me. I don't care about the public much, more about just using the stuff ;)

Is GHQ there for weapon hire?

If your coming over with a group then I'm sure someone will have one to lend, if your coming as a loan display then it's a bit of a problem

It's kinda hard to convince anyone here to come over to the UK...I'm pretty much the only english speaker out of those who would be interested in such an event.

Any chance we all (in the uk) can post events here and who to contact so if we wish to book we can do so.
example is Kelmarsh hall, (never went because I got the run-around by E.H. who do not know 1 finger from another).
Doesn't matter whether its a local event, with say MVT or a large event like war and peace, military odd., etc.
Some events are insisting that they have notification of at least 12 weeks before the show others just allow turning up on the day. So lets all pull together on this thread and please start listing now with as much info as possible.

Same goes for the guys form Deutschland, but doesn't seem to prevent their attendance.

it is a fabulous event hosted by les hearn a decent top notch bloke that will do all he can to help, the gunpowder mills staff are extremely friendly, the groups that display all get along very well together and work well at the event and the public are interactive, definitely make this one of your must do events.
