Great Show, great pyro's and a good show for the public to come along and see some great displays. The battle improvement things does get on my thruppnies somewhat, I hear it all the time about the Beltring battle which we do in conjunction with our friends from the SBG. People go on about authenticity like these battles are part of a documentary and the snide comments about how things should be done better. You have tanks with 90mm guns firing at guys behind haystacks and as Bryn says these tanks could quite happy sit on top of a hill and just pick the anti-tank guns off, unless someone's got an 88 that is  . It was a good battle as far as they go and no major injuries which just shows how good the organisers and pyro team ran it.

The event really has turned out to be the "Big" show for re-enactors and the general consensus seems to be that everyone loves it. It gladdens the heart to see such a mixed bag of groups get on so well and it makes you look forward even more to next years show.
