We are going cookie, we are hoping that the ground will be ok for the truck, otherwise we will ask to set up next to the road, failing that i will turn the truck around and get back home in time for the pub, lookl forward to seeing you, beers will be consumed lol . :D

Yes, it was a very good weekend indeed. I know the organisers had a bit of flak from some vehicle owners about SS attending, but as they saw we all put on good displays and the public seemed impressed. Never heard one negative comment from any public, but a few from MVT members in the beer tent at night. However, once two of our lady members had a dance with Fiona Harrison, even the vehicle owners realised we are in fact ordinary people!

If any of the shows organisers read this..... thank you :D

Yes a good event, had a big thank you from some mvt members, when we rescued their elderly dog which had become lost on sat night, it stayed the night with me and emma, scoffed hot dogs,the owner was very touched that someone cared for it, so maybe some of the mvt lot might start to understand that were not a bunch of goose stepping nazis,i had a great time esp beer tent sat night, was very funny, :D looking forward to next year.

Agreed guys, not a bad weekend considering the weather.

As a bye the way would the German reenactor who fancies doing a couple of Vietnam events please contact me on here (if you is anything like me you will have lost the e-mail addy i gave you).

Dont know a name or unit but it was a dad and his lad.
