Scenarios to be confirmed but to be honest whether you put it out as an Ardennes or Rhineland event - you get plenty of people saying they'll come - but who actually attends is another thing. Usual supporting groups will be in attendance and as a "training exercise" the scenarios will be loosely based on actual events with some tolerance dependant on groups in attendance.

There is also the possibility of a Eastern Front event late Feb in collaboration with Pete where obviously it would have to be German/Russian further details as we work em out.

REASONS.
Ill be taking the field in FJR kit so wont be able to run it fully like Pip Pk event and never used the site before so dont want silly numbers bimbling about...... just devolve into a cluster **** also have a pyro bloke there so need to keep tight control etc..
So small numbers of blokes of groups that I know/trust to do what their asked of... and worked with in the past, Ost front....living history event, welome the cold and rain,,,bring it on!..

Sadly Old chums, I have comitments with the old garden shed but we"ll shiver together again I'm sure. You'll always have Paul and Dave utensil fencing,that should keep your mind off the cold

Well it is a winter battle and thankfully you do not have to be in a frozen hole/trench/bunker for 6 months. Yes it was minus sixteen when I last camped there in the snow but kinda peaceful. Man up and come and warm up by the fire in the rear lines. Besides the forest keeps all of the wind out - I should know Im up there most weekends.Already gearing up to be a great loose fast flowing event just gets better - not sure about the realism of being ambushed by some FJ after they blew the jeep off the track and had a size 12 hobnail boot in me neck tho.......Na all adds to the realism!!!Keep it coming lads and summers not even here yet.

Pete yr proposed private event in Feb no prob I will email you details and then run with yr requirements so you get a chance to play for once!!!!

Thanks Chris, Do you have a map you can email me, one that show trails/tracks/fire breaks etc...if you do can you mark on it where you have emplacements etc.. ..
Also entrance..parking area and the mod tents that youve errected ..

as a note for WW2 airsoft events please check out my HOMELAND TACTICAL AIRSOFT page on facebook. ALSO I may move this live fire to the OLD DUKES COVERT SITE as we have had some issues re weapons. Anybody up for a return to the old killing ground on the same date?????
