Yet another training event - Bristol Area

Our group will be holding a training weekend on the weekend of 17th and 18th March. The location is Clutton near Bristol. The programme is yet to be finalised but will probably include some or all of the following

weapons safety
Uniform and equipment check (lets see if it still fits after christmas)
concealment and cammo dos and don'ts
field craft and movement under fire theory
field craft in practice
preparing positions
eating food - more commonly known as breaking for lunch
How to correctly present ones self at an evening outdoor social gathering - roughly equating to beer and a barbie
other stuff

This was initially going to be an our group only sort out how we look for 2012 affair, however with the demise of Mereworth we decided to open the invite to pretty much all that want to attend. There will be a small charge for attendance, this will go towards any fees to the land owner and the remainder will be spent food and beers for all.

I will hopefully be at the site this week to get some photos and try to get an OK on trenches being dug which I will update on here once I have the info.
