As Leader of the Florian Geyer group i would like to join the words of my friends here and as Bill(willi Klapptisch) and Joe(shortbread) and of course uncle Neil said before, it was a great and fantastic time for all of us, like every time it is possible for us to be your guest and of course we will come over to the RGM next year, again.

we are looking forward to see all of you guys soon at the next events this year. Thanks to all of you - cheers Daniel

On behalf of KP1, thankyou Les for a great event which was enjoyed by all despite the rain. Glad we came back after a two year break.
The Wheatsheaf was superb, a welcoming warm and friendly place to retreat to in the evening :D

The battle on the Monday was excellent, Sunday the field was really too crowded for everyone.

The girls noticed a lot of other groups watching them cooking all day on the Saturday and Sunday on our open fire. If any groups at future events want to brew a drink or cook some food, then please feel free to come over and ask to use it. They might even show you how to cook home baked Pizza and bread from scratch on a fire

ok guys

big huge thanks to jason youles ..new reenactor who volunteered to help me out over the weekend.
and a huge thanks goes out to the volunteers from the mills who work behind the scenes
but the bigest thanks goes out to you lot

all the reenactors who stuck with me and hopefully enjoyed the weekend
i have been having lots of sorrys coming in from peeps who had to leave early

i will say this to them

no need to say sorry it was great to see you regardless of time served there

you all did ya bit
and as said before if it was not for you the show would not go ahead

big thanks goes to mark pitt for narrating and producing the battles over the weekend
and matt harley at trinity pyrotechnics for the bangs

this show was possibly the hardest one i have done to date
i was and dont mind admiting it
pooping meself as to how many groups would make it
but you all excelled and all the groups that contacted me turned up

massive thanks goes out to pete for the disco we had at the pub ..
and the workers there also deserve a big thanks
im finding it rather hard to think of the words to express my gratitude to you all
as you all made the show what it is
and how far it has come ...this is a testimant to what can be achieved by working together

i have some things to iron out at the mills regarding internal problems
and im allways willing to listen to complaints on any problems you found

if i remember anything i will add to this post

HUGE HUGS TO YOU ALL

Always a pleasure Les, always a great start to the year and my Kubel enjoyed driving through the Dartford tunnel and back over the Bridge.
Always keep the boot of destiny aimed at the arse of anticipation!
