I had intended to post an image of Waffen-SS reenactors in Germany wearing camouflage without insignia,
taken at Baumholder 2006. But to do so would be unfair and put individuals under the spotlight within the German
hobby scene. The image does however support what you are saying and it does work and look good.

The last posts have shown that if you really want things to work, you can find ways of doing so within the rules.
Of course those reenactors who are against such an impression will always find sticks to throw between our legs.

Cheers, Bill.

No bird needed - but the yellow one was seen sometimes and often the white one - easy to sew a small piece of black cloth over the kreuz........

How about a black button?
Is round, and quickly secured with two stitches and cut off just as quickly ... is better than shooting a black patch (I use otherwise accessible)

just sew a button on it like I do when a HK is not allowed. When a HK on a beltbuckle isn't allowed you can buy cheaply originals from after the war, when most removed them.

After Beate doing some research through the Net about the political demo, I would like to add the following:

It would seem that the Ludendorf Society meets up not very far from Fallingbostel, this group is considered right-wing
and meets up every April and sadly this year it falls on the same weekend. The problem that we face is that the lefties
do their own counter demo, which tends to be much larger and could spill over onto our show, hence the concern.

A few voices in the German scene that raised objections against the event were concerned about possible "Neo-Nazis" attending
and it is ironic that real threat has come from red flag waving leftist Autonomen who shout "Nie wieder deutschland!" :?

Cheers, Bill.
