Your on, now I have to sneek it into the house without the wife notcing.."thought you got rid of that stuff yrs ago"
panama sole boots/M16 /alice webb ...might be cheaper to go VC...black PJs...LOL
Do they still do the M16/AKs in 8mm?...I found the Vietnam reenacting tacticals totally different from ww2, much slower movement, more hanging around listening then bugg out quick..recommend it...kept me bloody fit.

Hi mate yeh black pj's sounds a bit more practical than humping a load of gear!!!!
Yes there are still a few of those 8mm Armi Jaeger 16's and AK47's around (I had an AK years ago!). Don't sound too bad actually (then again it doesn't take much to beat 5.56 anyway).
However John demonstrated the AK and THAT is an awfully loud piece of kit running on blank ammo!!!You will certainly know when the VC hit you!!!!!
Looking forward to a bit more stealth and never knowing when your likely to be ambushed....

Latest update guys this is from 3 weeks ago when we first started the comms bunk at the SF base -digging by hand and we still had 4 feet to go through clay! This weekend will see the roof reinforced and sanbagged, the entrance completed and sandbagged and the start of the defensive trench around it. The other guys are concentrating on the perimeter posts and mortar/arty pits!!! Will keep the pics coming!!!
