It's now official the show is going ahead at the Showground on Croft Lane. All the usual fun of the fair with improvements.

Facebook group doing well - Thank you people.

Official website will be live in the next few days and forms will be available for download.

Two simple forms this year - Traders and Re-enactors.

Runway being extended - More Warbirds will be landing and a full RAF dispersal display is being planned.

Battle will incorporate some NEW ideas and some very dynamic and exciting visuals. For this reason numbers HAVE to be cut back and 2011's battle will be a strict invite only affair.

The Victory Show Cosby - Website now live - Brilliant videos both on front page and in gallery. Lots of info there - Professional website - Take a look.
The Dinner Dance will be taking place on Saturday as usual.
FRIDAY - Steve wants to know how many re-enactors would like to be able to use the main marquee FREE OF CHARGE for a private Social?
Please register interest with Steve and the team as soon as possible - He is keen to do something for the exhibitors by way of showing his appreciation - His thoughts are to open the bar (pay fer yer own!) and have a hog roast as in previous years - but this year do it in the main marquee with tables and chairs and if the stalwarts of Das Partie - Das Reich are inclined - a Disco........
Uniforms welcome and open house to all re-enactors displaying on the showground.

Lots happened on this show in recent weeks.

Battle is set to be the BIGGEST and most realistic yet staged in public. The battlefield is now HALF A MILE LONG and at its widest point 0.25 miles wide!!!!!!!! We have anti tank guns dug in firing at advancing Allied Armour. We have surprises galore. A Ruined farm building will comprise part of the set up and the Germans will have an extensive trench network stretching out into the battlefield.

What I need is for FLUENT German speaking re-enactors who are taking part in the battle as part of one of the invited, organised groups, to contact me via PM. Steve has the Sinvision film crew actually on the battlefield and we need to place them with a small group of German speaking re-enactors for one, perhaps both days. If you want to take part in this - you MUST be fluent and sound authentic as a German speaker. You must be prepared to work with the other German speakers and you must be willing to undertake the activities set for you. You must also be prepared to attend a meeting up at the showground sometime at the end of July/beginning of August.

There are some unique aircraft flying in. Some wonderful aircraft landing and this show is set to eclipse previous years by several light years. The battle is being tightened up as too many people were on the field at the last one........ Steve is handling this - Contrary to any rumours circulating, John Oxslade of Hire and Fire is providing Section 1 and 5 weapons. AFRA is providing pyrotechnics and battle co-ordination.

Bigger and Better really are the operative words here...... All the stops are being pulled out to ensure that everyone gets the best experience from this show. Please do your bit to support it.
