Simon Butcher of the Muckleburgh Collection Museum is organising a Veteran's Weekend event at the above venue on 26th & 27th June.

Situated on the North Norfolk coast near to Cromer, it is a lovely venue with a brilliant backdrop and a very interesting museum full of items including armoured vehicles and weapons.

For further details see:-

If you wish to become involved then please contact Simon via the following e-mail:-

For those who have never been there before, Muckleburgh is directly on the coast at a picturesque part of north Norfolk. The area itself also has a lovely beach.

Incidentally, 30 degree temperatures are predicted for the weekend. If so, then Muckleburgh will resemble Tripolitana or Tobruk!

The only downside is that England will be playing Germany on Sunday afternoon, so that may very well hit attendances at various events up and down the country.

Never mind, see you all there! :D

This’ll be my first event in 9 months. So I’m really looking forward to this one – particularly since it’s almost on my doorstep. Hence my vehicle’s not packed yet but everything’s ready to load up.

Have a safe and pleasant journey to all those coming.

Incidentally, THAT World Cup match on Sunday afternoon - which seems to be more important than the Final itself ! - may mean that Saturday is even busier.

cheers

was a great little event, wasnt very well supported by the public, lots of hardwork by really good groups,
a tad more planning in the layout would make this event have a lot more scope , bags of space not used .
everyone friendly and having fun in a very very hot weekend.
great to see old faces and new, we were attatched to our friends of the 116 windhund for the weekend and as always a pleasure and honour to be with.
micky had great fun clambering over the 88 too.
kev- you and your good lady are allways welcome to shelter from the sun anytime at any event we are at, had a good chat with rose.

Hi Nick, you know that you and Micky are also always welcome to join in with us if ever you wish to.

Thanks for your hospitality at the weekend and also for the schnapps, it will go down very well. Take care and all the best.

Kev.

Great photos guys. Will hopefully be paying a visit to the museum when we are in that part of the country later this summer.
