many thanks to all ( gunpowder mills)

Post by les hearn »

hi all
too many names to list

so as not to make any peeps feel left out

i will say a massive big thanks to all the people who hlped me out at the show at the mills

YOU ALL HELPED ...just by being there
it is.. YOU.. that make the show
it is... YOU... that turned a damp dreary piece of southern england into an area where we all enjoyed some camping fun .
many thanks to all the groups who went out into the wood and turned em into a small battlefield for the public to at least see something whilst it rained

i do hope that all where not too put out by the weather
it is allways a nightmare for any organiser
as you must know

well done the "RED CAPS" for winning the best of show award
verry deserved

but must say all the displays where indeed well done
especially the FSSF forces on the roundabout
they had a great well thought of display

missed the boat neil (damn)

i will add to this as i go
when i think of more to write

Well Les a big thank you to you too - a splendid weekend despite the weather. A great big thank you to Lou who did wonders at the Soldatenheim despite being on her own, sad not to see Dink, as Neil said good to see Mairtin and Tiernan (stone me has that boy grown!). There was a lovely atmosphere and a great effort on everyones part, was particularly impressed with the assault boat and the home made Enigma.
Always keep the boot of destiny aimed at the arse of anticipation!
