Burma battle 22-23 May, Dukes Covert

Post by Tanaka »

Scenario will be in the style of Burma and will involve a selection of mini scenarios to include:
Initial scouting into Japanese held territory down a jungle trail.
Recovery of a downed aircrew before IJA get to them.
Liberation of a Japanes POW/HQ camp
Cut off behind enemy lines holding off the IJA until reinforcements arrive.

This worked well last year with just USMC and IJA on a Saipan theme and has a lot of scope.
The weather and scenery were perfect.
This will work well for British,Australian,Indian,US Army, USMC and USAAF
We also have roles for non-combatants as prisoners etc.
Something a little bit different from ETO nothing like chasing Japs who just hit you and melt back into the forest!!!!
Anyone interested in the IJA we can also get you kitted out as Japanese.
Usual treats such as after action BBQ etc.
Pyro and weapons hire to be finalised
All interest on this thread please with relevant PM's.

The date will be the weekend of the 22nd-23rd May at the Dukes Covert site, this site worked very well for what we did last year with the Saipan event.

Up to date details of the vent can be found at our forum http://z13.invisionfree.com/IJA_Reenact ... wtopic=113
