Re: Your Favourite Event of 2009 season
I chose Victory for loads of reasons but the main one being the fact i got to introduce my Father to my many reenacting friends, it meant a lot to me folks the way you all made him so welcome.
Big Big Thanks

Only one vote mmmm???!!!!
Re: Your Favourite Event of 2009 season
I thought that Jon but I see Neil's logic - It's your favourite event..... Makes you really sit and choose the reasons.....
The poll could have had say three votes and possibly a top three would emerge as an average.... But we're in danger of doing what we usually do here..... Overanalysng it.
As a bit of fun I think it will provide a decent barometer anyway.

Been only to Longmoor, WA, Beltring and Detling this year, but for me the best show was Waltham Abbey.

I would have voted for Victory show - if for no other reason than the VUlcan did a fly by - however I didn't actually attend the event so thought I should put my weight behind something I had actually supported

And the winner is:
Victory Show!
A worthy winner.
Best victory show to date for me this year and thats saying something as they are always excellent.
All the shows nominated are worthy of amention, RGM is one of the best around.
Wouldnt miss it for the world, and where would we be without W&P?
Longmoor was the best (and last) tactical I have ever took part in.
Superb weekend and a benchmark for any organiser to aspire to.
Levisham is the perfect setting.
(Didnt do the others so cant comment)
With only 40+ votes the poll is nothing more than a bit of fun anyway, but well done Victory Show all the same.
