Hello Everyone,

I'm a photographer from Rugby and have a passion for wildlife and aviation this was my first time at one of these events and I have to admit that the draw wasn't the battle and static displays that you guys put on but that of XH558 appearing ! I was totally blown away (excuse the pun) by your total dedication and attention to detail, yes the big lady (XH558) put on an excellent display but all credit goes to all of you that made my day ! It was a truly wonderful day and needless to say I will be back to more of your events ! THANKYOU.

I took a total of 497 images of which I am now sifting for an on-line gallery on my website, I have processed what I deem to be the best so far and have uploaded them on to a small video montage.

I will post a link when the images are ready, in the meantime keep checking back at my blog for any updates http://www.wildaboutimages.co.uk/blog/ they should be ready in the next 24hrs.

It was good to chat and meet with you ( I was the guy walking round with the camo lens, on my shoulder) once again Thankyou !! :D

Has the pilot spoken to anyone about what it looked like from the air, were there any burn marks on the plane  or just skid marks on his seat

These are the first pix i've seen of the Vulcan "bomb-run"...! We were lined up behind a hedge waiting to go into the battle so only caught the smoke as it drifted over the field.

So, cheers for posting

I wouldn't have thought he'd Skiddy his chair - He was the guy who did it for real over Port Stanley!!!!! Apparently the Vulcan Trust are over the moon with it and it's being provisionally booked for other shows in 2010....
