Question:
Darth Vader - Cool -
So far, recent years have seen:
Thunderbirds
Capt Scarlet and Friends
Imperial Stormtroopers
Colonial Marines
The Alien
A Dalek
Pirates
Edwardians
Victorians
Steam Punks
All at WWII events.....
Can anyone tell me what it is? Is it the need to be "the same yet different"?
I love it - don't get me wrong it's no criticism - I really do consider having some form of event to encompass this kind of interest. Would it be "Pre-enactment" or Sci Fi Enactment? What does it fall under and why do you think it's prevalent?
Combined Ops, Headcorn Aerodrome 15th & 16th August 2009.
