its a pity that more uk private railways don't allow ww2 re enacting. they are missing out on a money spinner. GCR.............. I have been policing Rothley station for the past 10+ years and the station is fully 'germanised' including flags. A good 2 day event with a number of Deutschland re enactors as well, which set the language for the 'investigate and interrogation' of the passengers. Their turn over goes up by some 400% that weekend.

anything like this in the UK just brings out the "Their Nazis", and "Nazis Invaid Small Railway Museum", "SS Nazis Take Over Town" headlines in the paper, along with the hatemongerers that stir up local trouble, such as the couple at a well known railway station that play the press and the crowd everytime there is even a whiff of germans at the event. So many events in the UK wont even allow germans to even think about considering attending their events due to the "Home Front" nature of the event, yet Russians, US troops of all departments including navy are allowed to attend, Its a shame, we are slowely being erased from history by people that are to ignorant to learn the truth and just want to avoid people that may complain.
