Thought I would share with you guys some pictures I have acquired from a German veterans family. A collection with an interesting look at a Germans Soldiers life.
This is dated 1936 on the back.
The Barracks. Does anyone know where this is?
An interesting group showing a great collection on clothing.
Some interesting drawings on the barrack room walls. Would you have seen this sort of thing on in a British Barracks.
When a re-enactor says he does not do drill, can he really be able to call himself a complete re-enactor.
German soldiers re-enacting the fields of Kelmash 2012.
People are very critical of re-enactors that just sit around all day…….
Competition time, what tank was this, the picture is dated 1942 and is in Russia?
Theres always one bloke who gets his kit from the wrong supplier and the stands out from the rest.
Ok so next time you take the piss out of the guys with the wooden gun, just remember he is infact much more correct than you thought.
Its always the way, when the jobs is getting dirty, there will always be plenty of people standing around just watching…..
Sd.Kfz. 6 Typ BN15, DB15, BN17 and DB17, which were produced in 1935-1937.
This is dated 1937 and shows Germany did have plans for amphibious landings……
Interesting look at uniform before 1938.. stood infront of a Sd.Kfz. 6 Typ BN15, DB15, BN17 and DB17, which were produced in 1935-1937.
Count those hobnails…….

Russian tank is either BT2 or BT7 probably the former looking at the hull. Great photos though. Certainly gives a different perspective on the life of a deutches soldat.
