It's wasn't praise, it was sarcasm.

I think what brother Hans is trying to point out in more florid terms than i, is the total rip off of text from the front page of our website onto yours and the use of the same colour scheme - I'm amazed you've not ponced a few pics for good measure as well.

I know it's good copy (I wrote it myself), but to lift it and use it pretty much verbatim is a bit of a cheek at best, down right plagiarism at worst.

Sort it out eh, have a bit of imagination for your new outfit.

John, at a I guess I'd say Neil's post has completely gone over your head hasn't it.

Honoured as we are that you are obviously impressed by our group website, we are not exactly impressed by any group that blatantly copies from it.

Taking inspiration from elsewhere is fine, but if you are going to copy from us or any other group at least try to make it less obvious. Not really the best way to enter the re-enacting scene as a new group. Maybe make a little more time and effort of your own, eh?

One thing you may feel free to copy though, is the disclaimer at the bottom of each page of our website - "This site, images and content are copyright© of GD Aufklarungsgruppe 2005-2013, unless stated." If you do wish to personalise this bit slightly, you are welcome to update it now that it is 2014.

Sorry, wasn't aware, and I am not solely resposible for the building of the web site. I put this in the hands of a friend first and foremost to set it up and put it together before handing over the running and showing me the ropes (so to speak).
There are 3 of us now with access to the site and I have altered a few things already. Thanks for pointing out!

Looking a little better now but you might want to remove the 'Wikipedia' citation's at the end of each sentence of your unit history

Will do Kurt. Thanks for your patience and understanding fellas. Got to admit I'm not a wizzard with internet technology so it's a bit at a time and I'm constantly making errors.
Think I have removed around 20 photos which I didnt wanr to - doh!!!!!
Anyway, like I said I will keep at it and gradually get it looking ok, hopefully without destroying it completely. Lol.

Well if your going to blatantly rip off someone's else's hard work on a site.You might as well do it to a good one.

Wouldn't go as far as to say the site wad blatantly ripped off, that's a bit harsh. A site consists of many pages, links, photos etc etc.....
GD is an excellent site. Up there with the very best.
276 is at the most good.
So behave and stop stirring the pot!
