Wow, is that their standard level of historical knowledge?
The Waffen-SS was responsible for running the concentration camps, and the mass murder of millions of Jews.

The trouble is the public will believe them, wonder how long it will be at an event until a group doing Waffen SS is told they murdered millions in the concentration camps. Oh sorry it already happens dont it

If it was for Halloween, one night type thing...meh, but he's really asking for it by going there multiple times...what's odd is that it's just NOW that it has become an issue, what's the matter, the press doesn't have anything else better to write about these days?
But along the lines...how many of you did dress up as "Nazis" for Halloween? Yes...Nazi zombie counts :p

whats even worse is the quality of his kit, looks like something from either a costume shop or history bunker, if your gona look a prick and insult people as you walk around dressed as allemeigna (spelt wrong i know but cant spell it) SS then atleast go to the effort of getting a decent uniform.

Unfortunately it is not funny. This is the kind of idiotic behavior likely to provoke campaigns to have the wearing of TR uniforms and insignia banned, a la Germany, Austria, France, and some other places. All it takes is for some tabloid to take up the issue. We are unlucky in this country that we do not have a constitution gauranteeing our rights of free speech and expression as in the US, which would prevent any such bans. It could happen all too easily in this era of political correctness where people are assumed to have a "right" not to be "offended".grenadier Biermann wrote:Hi lads it cought my eye Today's Daily Mail http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... olley.html

Let's all move to the States and form our mini-Grossdeutschland! solve all our problems
But on a more serious note, this topic of the insignia bans and such are a constant topic, but in all honesty I don't see it happening, especially when Germany and Austria are loosening up a bit about it...France...well that's another story, but that's because they'll be sore about it for the rest of their lives...5 weeks... *snicker*
