Well that was a bit wierd...

Post by Feldjager »

About 18 months ago I had one of my funkeruhr (signals clocks) stolen from my display at an event, was during the day in a closed tent. It was all duly reported, but never bothered claiming for it on the insurance as it was one of the tattier ones.

Anyhow, just had a phone call from Humberside Police to say it had been found during a search of premises about 3 weeks ago. Odd where these things turn up!!

Very lucky - I'd written it off ages ago as a loss!

Glad to hear you've got it back , really upsets me to hear things go missing - never experienced it , bit makes me think when I'm displaying thousands of pounds of GJ gear at shows .

Glad you got the item back Feldjager, it is annoying when stuff gets knicked
especially when you put up a display for the benefit of the public then they
knick your stuff grrrrr..... it makes you think whether you should bother
displaying stuff tbh
