Nice to see ebay UK is allowing live parts to be sold in the uk, this is just one example of several i found and reported over the weekend to ebay

Well in the States it's allowed, actually one can get away with taking apart the whole rifle and selling the parts off. Then airsoft weapons are allowed and so on...

Yes that may be true, but this is being offered for sale in the uk on ebay uk, so its NOT allowed unless you have the correct documents for section 1 and or 5 and or 7

True, but does this prohibit it being sold on eBay if the buyer does have the correct license? Would that explain the lack of airsoft items on ebay.uk?

no ebay doesnt allow weapons (in general) to be sold, may get the odd toy but thats about all
The problem is that unless the FAC1 allows access to spares you cannot buy this way. The seller has to fill in the details and the buyer then has to notify the police.
(That another reason why the US wont send BF weapons to us in the uk).
As you know the laws in europe are completely different

The above is correct for component parts of firearms - bolt bodies, bolt carriers, firing pins, barrels, receivers etc - but this isn't a component/pressure bearing part? See them for sale regularly, on online shops, to militaria stalls...
