yes, it was nice to see oneself on tv.
basically the tv show was called ''o gormans ireland''.
it focused more on the lives of people there backgounds etc.
it combined all re enactment eras from medieval to the present day.
set in an old military fort in duncannon co.wexford.
definetly a highlight for a ww2 re-enactor in ireland.
it was great to have most of all the ww2 groups there.
great weekend in june.

I also watched this programme . It was a pretty good account of what is happening on the Irish reenactment scene . All sections and groups were covered , from Romans , Celts, Vikings , Red Coats , Napolenic to Irish War of Independence, WW1 Tommy and German and German WW2 to the modern era .
The programme was done by Paddy O'Gorman and it was number 7 in his series , if you go to www.rte.ie you should be able to find it .
It was great to see our hobby being protrayed in a positive light and also being enjoyed by the public that came to see the annual Duncannon Fort show .
