Heading to Scotland on a family break, has anyone got info on reenactor , surplus shops , events , anything really that we could visit, shop, see, etc heading Monday so any info would be great!!

Well its not raining anywhere near as bad as England so thats a bonus 
Events theres Dumfries Aviation museum next weekend Sun 22nd.
Shops not much unless you head up to Glasgow, Treasure bunker is there (watch for the high prices) few army surplus shops, Micks surplus shop which is about the best one is over in Lanark.
Theres a smashing model shop in Ayr town centre tho.
Kiddies wise theres Heads of Ayr farm park which is a good family day out, culture plenty of stuff Robbie Burns house, Culzean castle to name a couple.
Gamesport in Ayr sells 8mm blanks fairly cheap if you need some.
