Has anyone seen or heard from Michael Hodgkinson lately?

I'm asking as 6 weeks ago I paid Mick for a one of the Trinkwassers he was selling here on this forum and as of today I've never heard from him since. Won't answer his phone or respond to emails, but he's had no trouble cashing my cheque

I'd like to hear from Mick as soon as possible to clear this issue up in an adult and mature fashion. Either a full refund or sending on the goods I paid for in the first place would be acceptable.

Prob be a good plan to require folk to have participated for a given time or given number of viable posts before letting them advertise for sale stuff, to help establish they're genuine? Just a thought mods...

To be honest i dont know how easy it would be for Admin to set that up and in any case it wont stop this sort of thing just means its a bit longer before you get conned.
Sorry but thats the way it is on places like this after all you are dealing with people who in general dont use there proper name, give no details of where they are (and if they do how do we know they arnt telling porkies) not to mention that they dont in general use a proper photo of themselves. So im afraid that though there are a great many honest and straight sellers on here it is bound to happen sometimes. Personaly i will not buy from anyone i dont know or does not have good feeback on there selling threads.

I found Mike very honest to deal with when I negotiated the purchase of a Pak 40 and the half track from him and also with other pieces as well subsequently, he was honest and timely.

Yeah ive found him fairly straight normally, maybe he is just unavailable, ie ill, away, computer down or even just plain working all the hours god sends. Who knows what the trouble is.

Well we're into July now and despite repeated attempts to contact Mick, nothing, zip! No goods, no money returned. A sad state of affairs

Happy to report a successful outcome after much digging around I managed to find a point of contact for Mick and once challenged he was happy for me to nip up to his house to collect the Trinkwasser which I have done today.

As feedback on this sale, Mick has some wonderful gear on offer but I would suggest collecting and paying for any item in person.

glad you got what you were owed, presently i am in dispute with an ebayer that i purchased from, who one month later still has not sent to me what i purchased, but it will be reolved via the resolution centre, pity people are dishonest in monetary dealings at times.
