I remember organising a gaming competition and using a trick a little bit like that with ebay. never got any comeback on it though, but I guess the reenactment thing would have a much better take-up.

Probably some one informed EBay and it was pulled. Usually happens - Usually some spotty teenager with an agenda - Sometimes a jealous rival, with a similar product to sell, in this instance as it wasnt'a real commodity, Can't think.... Were we promoting Nazi Ideals?

It could have been pulled because it is directly linking to an external website (other than an Ebay shop) - I've had auctions pulled because I've linked through to more detailed pictures on my website - thus evading paying for the pictures!
