Hallo Kameraden!

Just figuring out a story for a re-enactor Kamerad and his Soldbuch, when I run into trouble. I hope someone can enlighten me:

How long did it take to "graduate" as NCO (Unteroffizier/SS-Unterscharführer) from an Unteroffizierschule during war, say 1942-43? This particular soldier is an SS-Rttf and is sent to NCO school, how long will he spend there? 6 months or less?

That really depends on his function and what he's being trained to do, specialist will be trained longer for example. 6 months however is quite realistic. It depends on the school as well in which he goes to, and what he promoted to Unteroffizieranwärter in the field? Need more info please ;)

OK, here more info:

Unterführerschule Sennheim, regular infantryman, European volunteer, 20 years old. Served in Ostfront from late 1942 to early 1943, wounded, got back to replacement and training unit and was sent to NCO school from there. From NCO school back to training unit and off to Ostfront from there. No idea if he was promoted in field or in school, will ask :) Thanks for help!
