Writing my thesis.

I am trying to decide what I want to write my senior thesis on and am trying to brainstorm and get suggestions. I plan on doing something involving the foreign volunteers of the Waffen SS. Suggestions?
Possibly how they were like the original NATO before NATO even exhisted. It would be difficult considering most of the volunteers had their occupied governments approval and some didn't, then you would have to go into the puppet government mess and that is a mess in itself.
