Proper 1940's German haircut

Post by Prinz Eugen »

Does somebody know of a good barber/hairdresser/unit that can cut the ww2 german 1940's hairstyle convincingly?

Even if you take pics to show folk how the final product should look, they all seem to end up giving one the 'short back and sides' treatment leavig one looking like a Tommy at best?! :o :x

I'm prepared to travel really far from Milton Keynes to get it done correct........please can somebody advise me on this........I'd be much obliged. :D

If you look at original photos, soldiers haircuts vary wildly... anything from skinhead to the floppy hair on top look.

Ask for "short back and sides leaving it long on top" or ask for an "undercut........ Worked for me for over a decade..... well over actually

Tip - go to a barbour who is over 30 or go to a Polish barbour. Do not go to a hairdressers or a stylists or whatever - you will end up with spikey hair ontop and skinhead back and sides. We've got a polish barbours in Worcester, and the lass in there does a cracking "soldiers" haircut - as its a popular style around the Eastern-Block types.
