None of them are that great it seems and Gavin is the only one who makes the trousers to match.

Always had good customers service when dealing with him. I'd prefer to see a decent company like panther store make an accurate repro though.

The one Gavin sells is the same exact one as Zib. The color is a bit too poop yellow for my taste, and the center chest pockets aren't sewn into 3 sections.. just one big pocket.

With some tea-staining and aging it is alright, but the color is still off. To date no one makes a great copy of the windbluse; Hong Kong Keith made the best, but his business is long gone. :(

Here's my original windjacke/windbluse in the two most common shades.. why can't anyone replicate the right color? :roll:

What is really needed is one of the companies who make high quality accurate repros to make them - SM Wholesale or Panther Store.

Be nice to see anorak and trousers reproduced.

Yes, it came in "sage green" like the windjacke and also olive green as well, colors varied from different producers, but where all within this color spectrum. Although the most common was the lightweight tan-ish ones as posted above.
